The 18 Rules of Happiness Identified by Karl Moore:

1.  Stop feeling sorry for yourself—self-pity doesn’t help; it hinders.

2.   Be grateful—count your blessings, regularly.

3.  Say “yes” more—expect opportunities, then trust, welcome and embrace them.

4.  Follow your bliss—do more of what makes you feel good.

5.  Learn to let go—especially of unhelpful negative emotion.

6.  Do random acts of kindness—without expecting anything in return.

7. Happiness is only ever now—remember the good times past, pray for good times
to come, but be happy now.

8.  Experience, don’t hoard—possessions come and go, but experiences can last a lifetime.

9.  Appreciate both sides of the coin—even our least favourite feelings have value
and importance.

10. Be more social—cultivate a social network to be proud of.

11. Love more—give love more and love the world the way it is more.

12. Have a dream—know the changes you would like to bring to bring into existence.

13. Intention sets direction—you’re more likely to get good outcomes if you have
clear intentions and/or plans.

14. Enjoy simple pleasures—put time aside for enjoying simple pleasures.

15. Accept what is—battle less with yourself, with others and with the world.

16. Exercise and eat well—take good care of yourself.

17. Zoom out and don’t sweat—allow yourself to have some perspective.

18. Laugh, dance and smile—find ways of expressing your good feelings.
